Commissioned artwork

City Of Heroes character NIKE IX is pitted against the scheming MALTA group.

The background was initially a missile silo but I changed it to a Kronos Titan hangar.

I think it's more interesting to see a mech than a missile in the background.

Really nice work. Love the dynamic poses. Lighting could be a bit better though; highlights should show some presence of greens and oranges.

The linework and drafting itself is great--very exciting and dynamic scene. But, as purplerose noted, the light and color seem kinda compartmentalized. You should really go for it with the color. Punch it up a bit and get more reflected hues going on to do those inks justice.

Very strong piece. The composition is very dynamic and well done. I agree with chickenfingers in his critique; Your line work is great. Work more on colors and values more, and you'll be unstoppable
