Description
DC portfolio pinup illustration of Batman and Wonderwoman, 2004.This is one of my earliest works. I actually had to draw the same piece TWICE, this is the first version and this one was rejected. Editor's comment was WW is too muscular and her hair is too light. --I agree.
Both characters are copyright of DC Comics
Pencilled using staedler 2b pencil.
No inks.

The poses are great and nice clean line art.
The left hand of batman looks a bit off; skewed.
Otherwise wonderful job, this will look even better in coilour

Remember, the fingers don't move in complete independence from the bones in the hand. So, for the fingers to move as they are, there would have to be an external force pushing against them. Keep the bone ridges in the fingers in a somewhat straight line radiating from the wrist.
So, that's a really small criticism on a completely ass-whoopin' piece of work. Do you have any sequential work for your portfolio? Most of your pieces so far have been pinups or 'splash pages'. If you're looking for work in the comic industry, they'll be much more apt to snatch up your talent if you've got some story pages penciled up.

And yes, i have plenty of sequential pages
And no, i'm not looking for comic book work right now. I am taking a break.
I can't keep a monthly title with the other stuff I am doing.

I'm not fighting with you, I just think this is an awesome piece, so I'm 'challenging' your comment to hopefully change your thinking
